- Remember when Joaquin Pheonix when crazy? Yeah, so Brian got grizzly and looked striking like Mr. Pheonix. Just google “Joaquin Pheonix on Letterman” to relive the career train wreck.

- We took a road trip out to Jonesboro, AR – We stopped in KS to take silly photos
- Even Herman got to go for the trip
- We stopped in Branson, MO – wow, what a place…
- Went to a cousin’s wedding in Jonesboro, AR
- On the way home we stopped at Prarie Dog Town to see the ‘World’s Largest Prarie Dog” – never again…

- Dawn’s birthday bouquet from the yard – peonies, poppies and more

- We went to Garden, Grapes and Hops at the Denver Botanic Gardens – they happen to have dinosaurs at the Gardens too!
July
- Our summer vacation was in North Carolina – First stop was the Outer Banks for 4th of July on the beach
- The ocean is incredable in NC – taken at Cape Hatteras NP
- We even visited the sight of the first flight
- The next stop as Durham – deep in the tobacco belt
- Even caught a Durham Bulls Game
- Last stop was Raleigh where we checked out thier museums

- We had a GREAT crop of pumpkins from our garden – we even got to give some away to friends

- Favorite thing of the season – We dressed up as zombies and went to downtown Denver for the annual Zombie Crawl
